Our Story.

WHY KEHILAT YAVNEH?

Most of us who attend Yavneh grew up a part of the Los Angeles Jewish community. Most of us saw synagogue attendance as just something that we ought to do. But what if going to shul was supposed to be something more, something bigger? What if going to shul was meant to shake up the way we look at our lives and the world? What if going to shul was intended to make us think about living a more giving life? Those questions are why we are here.

Spend Shabbos with Yavneh as you are. Who knows, you may leave as you’d rather be.
